Undergraduate Research Program  

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry offers a 10-week summer undergraduate research program. Students perform independent research under the supervision of faculty members, applying chemical principles to problems involving drugs and related molecules.

Founded in 1996 by the KU Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry in cooperation with several educational institutions in Europe and Asia, GPEN, Inc. was created for the sole purpose of fostering and facilitating international scientific exchange in the pharmaceutical sciences.
