Shuang Cai earned her B.S. in chemistry from Nankai University in China in 2004 and her M.S. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Toledo in 2007. She joined the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Kansas and received her Ph.D. in 2011. Since then, she has worked as a research associate in the Forrest group. Her primary research interest focuses on lymphatic drug delivery and the applications of locoregional therapies.
